I use the method of bark tanning, which is a traditional method of hide tanning using all natural materials (tree bark, salt, olive oil, egg yolks), plus time, plus a lot of hand work. The result is a lovely soft leather or fur that is more durable and lasts longer than a chemically tanned hide.

Your hide will become a rug or fur that tells a story, or a custom-made piece of leather that can be used for custom-made leather crafts (wallets, belts, shoes, etc).

I can tan most big and small game animals. If in doubt, ask! Prices range from $200 to $1,000, depending on size and type of animal. (I am not currently able to tan cow or bison hides.)
